One purpose of the Library of the CCR is the provision of bibliographic support for research and activities arranged by the Presidency and by the Scientific directorates and teaching activities carried out at the Centre itself by the Higher Education and Studies School and the University of Turin.
It is responsible for collecting, organising and providing documentary, bibliographic and iconographic material in the fields of interest and on the topics expanded on by the Centre. Particular attention is given to the restoration in its various aspects, the history of art and ancient, modern and contemporary artistic techniques, critique and museology, archaeology, with an in-depth analysis of local topics. Specialist Italian and foreign periodicals are also acquired.
Updating the heritage requires the increase through purchases, gifts or exchanges by initiating a network of connections with other similar institutes and Italian and foreign museums.

The loan is possible only in presence of the librarian
Service personnel, scientific and teaching staff of the Foundation, the Higher Education and Study School, the bachelor's degree faculty and students on these courses have access to the library's services (consultation of bibliographic material, research of electronic catalogues, databases and workstations with Internet access). External users who have to conduct research for any reason concerning the areas of the library's specialisation are also permitted, with the permission of the manager, or his/her representative.
Computer stations are available for consultation and research in computerised catalogues online and in databases.
It is only permitted on an internal loan for periods not exceeding one week.
You can make on-site photostatic reproductions, photographs or scans of the material owned by the library in compliance with the applicable laws on copyright (max. 15% of each volume or periodic file) and excluding degree and doctoral theses or rare texts or those in a poor preservation condition.
