The research conducted within the Center uses the expertise of all the units, who collaborate in research projects, analysis and experimentation on different fronts of the conservation disciplines. They were then turned on research projects on conservation history and the history of the restoration, the techniques used, materials of the restoration, development and application of innovative methodologies and technologies for diagnostics and conservation.
Studies and research have also developed within individual restorations and are the subject of study in the university, especially with the mentoring of undergraduates colleges. The lines identified are also the subject of research and development with local firms.
Based on the lines of inquiry and of the strategic areas identified are also undertaken work plans and multi-cross, the subject of partnerships and collaborations with universities and research institutions both nationally and internationally.
