The CCR performs conservation and restoration’s interventions on artworks (certified by the governmental protection) both in the public and private sector. The presence of Restoration Laboratories, Scientific Laboratories, Imaging Laboratories, the library and the Documentation Centre in the same structure allows to satisfy different needs of knowledge, conservation and enhancement of objects and works of art.
The interventions are commissioned by CCR’s founders, public and private institutions. CCR also obtained SOA certification for OS2 - A category class. IIIa (decorated surfaces and movable artworks of historical and artistic interest), and is therefore allowed to access public call for tenders.
In addition to the direct intervention on the artwork, conservation and restoration activities include project plans, classification for conservative purposes , preventive conservation and programs of planned maintenance.
