Young Professionals Forum 2020

The Centro Conservazione e Restauro “La Venaria Reale” will host on July, 2 2020 the first edition of the Young Professionals Forum, an international event aimed at Young professionals of cultural heritage.

Following what is happening in Italy and around the world, the Forum has been given a new guise to allow everyone to participate, in this first and unrepeatable edition.

The idea of keeping this appointment represents a sign of hope, an opportunity for recovery and a new impetus for the community of young professionals.

The new version of the Forum is entirely digital and free.

The aim remains to create a space of sharing, open to comparison and innovation through the circulation of ideas and good practices, with the hope of strengthening the connection between institutes and people who are engaged in different ways in the conservation of cultural heritage.

The day will be held in 4 sessions each dedicated to a crucial theme for the conservation and transmission of cultural heritage. Institutions and Research Institutes of international relevance (IIC, CNR, ICOM and Università di Torino) are involved in the role of moderators, Scientific committee and jury.

The four sessions’ themes will be:
1. Conservation ethics and practice
2. Diagnostics and technologies applied to conservation
3. Museum professions
4. History of conservation
