Fellowship – Diagnost of Cultural Heritage
The Cecilia Gilardi Foundation, in agreement with the ‘La Venaria Reale’ Centre for the Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage (CCR), establishes a Scholarship of the value of 16,500 euros for a total commitment of ten months for a Diagnost of Cultural Heritage. This grant is supported by the Fund in memory of Giuseppe Gilardi, one of the founders of the Cecilia Gilardi Foundation.
Fellowship Content
The candidate will have the opportunity to acquire considerable experience and skills in the field of diagnostics applied to the different types of materials and artefacts relating to the nine restoration sectors present at the JRC, such as paintings on canvas and table, wooden sculptures and furnishings, contemporary art, textile artefacts, tapestries, leathers and carpets, stone materials, wall paintings and decorated architectural surfaces, glass, metal and ceramic artefacts, paper, photography and parchment materials.
