Facilitated description

The work "Salvator Mundi" of Tuscan scope is about 1500-1600.

The "Salvator Mundi" is an oil painting on panel and is kept at the Pinacoteca Ambrosiana in Milan.

Restorer Pinin Brambilla Barcilon restored the painting in 2001-2002.

The restorer worked on cleaning the paints that had been added in previous restorations and that were yellowed and dirty.

The restorer consolidated (made more stable) the original pictorial film that had large damaged parts.
